I- Light is Invisible:

  • Most light is invisible, we cannot see the actual electromagnetic radiation, we only see evidence of it.
    • It gives life. It warms the earth.
    • We generally only see light as it reflects off our surroundings.
  • God is also invisible.

G- Light is Glorious

  • Glory
    • Of something. received recognition, honor
    • Of someone. greatness as a result of combined characteristics
    • It is what makes up the sun that gives it its glory.
  • The sun is 1,390,000 kilometers across.
    • The sun makes up 99.8% of the total mass (stuff) in our solar system.
    • The sun puts out 386,000,000,000 megawatts/second.
    • Every second it produces 695,000,000 tons of helium.
  • It would take about 406,744 years for a power plant to produce the amount of energy the sun does in one second.
    • God created an uncountable number of stars, many bigger than the sun.
    • God’s brightness in visions represents His glory radiating from His power.
  • When did you last stop to recognize God’s glory?
    • Psalm 19:1-3 The heavens declare the glory of God
    • Psalm 97:6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

T- Light is True

  • Light shows us what is there.
    • The physically blind cannot see light. They do not know what is around them in an unfamiliar place.
