There are literally thousands of denominations? But we have only one pattern.
The question is whether or not we can see the Bible alike. If we look at the Bible, study it, to see what it has to say, we can. There are no contradictions in the Bible. It is perfect, the Word of God guided by the Holy Spirit. Let us examine scriptures to see whether or not we an all see the Bible alike.
But, false teachers bring division into the body. But, is it of the Bible? Does the Bible teach division? We must look to the Bible to see the pattern, and follow the one pattern that the Bible sets forth.
Seeking to Be Unity in Christ
- Ephesians 4:1-6
When we Believe the Same Thing we Will Have Unity
- 1 Corinthians 1:10-13
Speak the same thing, and have the same mind.
- John 17:20-23
A fervent plea, by Jesus Christ for Unity
- Amos 3:3
To walk together, we need to take heed when it comes to religious matters. We need to be in agreement because we are looking to the same pattern.
- Hebrews 11:6
- Luke 13:3
- Matthew 10:32
Some find verses like these, to agree on, but turn a blind eye to the things that divide. That's how we see some seeking to divide.
- Psalm 133:1
The Psalmist believed that unity is important.
- 1 Peter 3:21
If we choose to not believe in baptism, then we don't believe a large part of the Bible.
- John 3:5
This is another passage that many do not want to be unified on.
- Acts 2:38
In the first gospel sermon both repentance and baptism was preached by the Apostle Peter. Can we all see the Bible alike? If we look at this first gospel sermon, we can if we have a willingness to hear.
- Revelation 22:19
If we do what the Bible says, nothing more or nothing less, we can all find agreement and be unified in Christ.
- 1 Corinthians 15:59
The resurrection must take place. If it doesn't take place the rest of the Bible will not be fulfilled. The resurrection prepares us for the judgment.
- 2 Corinthians 5:10
We are going to appear before the great judge, Jesus Christ. After His decision there will be no other court to appeal to. He IS the supreme judge.
