It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved brother in Christ, Richard Petering, who departed this life on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
Richard was truly an encouraging Barnabas to so many, having served as an elder for many yers. His kindness, faith, and gentle spirit brought comfort to countless hearts. His life reflected Christ’s love through his willingness to encourage, serve, and uplift those around him. While we grieve his passing, we are thankful for the lasting impact of his faithful example and rejoice in the hope we have in Christ.

Visitation: 10:00 a.m.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m.
Burial: Oak Grove Cemetery, immediately following the service.
Luncheon:
A luncheon will be served in the church basement following the burial.
