Passage: Ephesians 6:4
Service Type:

We are all facing a society that has changed immensely. When we look over the past 15 to 20 to even 30 years we would not have expected to see the situation we are in today. Today, however, we can see how things are offered to young people in such an easy way.

It starts when they are infants. As early as possible, it’s important to get the word in their minds from the infant stage.

Young People Facing the World

Parents have we raised them to be ready for the challenge? Parents are responsible for their own children. We have a command to bring them up for Christ!

  • Ephesians 6:4

Young People have you listened and learned from your parents?

The world is a difficult place. You may think you have figured it already, but there are plenty of new challenges ahead for you.

All will face the world and what it offers.

Facing the World - The Law of the Land

  • Romans 13:1-3
  • 1 Peter 2:13-16

The idea that we can express ourselves is god-given within the laws of the land, these protests are going against that direction.  We need to understand that we have to respect and recognize the law of the land.

Sin is very open for all today.

  • James 1:13-16
  • 1 Corinthians 10:13
  • 2 Timothy 2:15

We have to teach our children what is right. It’s not old fashioned to do so. When it’s God’s way it’s not old fashioned it’s this way until the world comes to an end. God has set his law and it’s the same for yesterday today and tomorrow. Because He is the same forever.

Man is tempted when He is drawn away by His own temptations. Do no ere, do not allow thyself to be pulled into sinful action. When we study the word, understanding the direction by God, we can and we must overcome the temptations of this world.

We need to be understanding that we must abstain from that which is evil in this world.

Parents and grandparents are you teaching our children? Young people are you listening to your parents? Do you see the need and have the understanding to stand for the truth? And, overcome those things that are evil in this life.

God has provided for us a perfect plan.  He's told us what we can do to have our sins washed away and how we can stay clean in His sight. That we might have eternity in Heaven. It's a simple plan. We listen to what He says, we have faith in it, we believe. Then we act upon that faith by repenting of our sins and making a change in our life. Then, we must confess the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as the true Son of God. And then being buried in the watery grave of baptism. It is in that act that we come into contact with the blood of Christ which It is washing, cleansing us, making us pure in the sight of God. We come forth from that grave, a new creature, symbolizing the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

And we then live a faithful life. If we fall, John tells us if we confess our sins and walk in the light, the blood of Jesus continually cleanses us from our sins. 1 John 1:7-8.

is what cleanses us making us new. We rise from that gr
