The topic of Current Issues makes the topic extremely needful for the things going on in our society today. We need to speak out on the things that are true from scripture, though, there is a lot working against us in our society.
Why be concerned about an out of control society?
Is it really that bad?
Society - the totality of social relations among human beings. (Webster’s)
Statistics concerning an out of control society.
When we see how children react to their parents and the parents react to their children we can see that society is out of control. And at times it seems that children have more control than children.
We have to be very concerned about the situations happening in our society today.

Labor = profit
Penury = poverty (no action, just talk about it)
As Christians we need to be working in order to help this society to understand the change that needs to take place.
As parents and grandparents we need to teach our children and grandchildren from the earliest stages that these things are wrong. We need to use the word of God to teach and train our children into what is right and good.

The word of God is powerful, and is a discerner of the thought and intent of the heart. It can change the very essence of man. We need to have it instilled in us.

If the Bible offends, it will offend. If it’s the scripture, that’s the direction of God.

These terms brings forth the idea of lude movements, whether in the vertical or horizontal positions. It refers to dancing and elicit moves.

Society and Homosexuality

God does not accept it. He did not design it that way. He will not give in to the way of man.

The action of homosexuality is against the very nature that God designed. We are to love the sinner, but hate what they are doing.

Could the Apostle Paul have made it any clearer? The Bible makes it clear that homosexuality is sinful. Our aim is to make that clear to those in society today.
Society and Fornication
Our society has grown prevalent in premarital sex, even in children as young as 13 and even before.

Society and Abortion
Abortion is murder. It is taking the life of a child before the child has had an opportunity to be born. From the moment of conception, life begins.
Abortions in US 638,169 in US, 56 million worldwide (2015).

Even from the womb, God recognizes the life of the child. He forms the child.
Many will lose their soul for killing these unborn children.

The called out are pure, because Christ’s blood covers us from our sin.

We have to guard against false teachers. Some will sneak in unawares, then they separate some away and cause division.

Christ gave himself for One church. It’s His church the church that belongs to Christ.
What’s the answer for the out of control society?
The answer is the same today as it was then.

Jesus, the slain son of God was put on the cross because of the evilness of society. Paul’s message was they had done something wrong, they needed to make a change. The change is simple, repent, be baptized for the remission of your sins through the blood of Christ.
Even the most evil person who repents and is baptized for remission of sins would be forgiven. Change would take place.
The answer is Jesus.

Baptism is where we come into contact with the blood of Christ, to have our sins washed away.
Be thou faithful unto Death

For all who would love the appearing of Christ, those who are obedient to the faith. Hearing, believing it, repenting of sins, confessing Christ and being baptized for the remission of sins leads us to salvation. And, being faithful unto death we shall receive the crown of life.

The church must serve the living God faithfully shining forth his light. God knows whether we are living right or wrong. He expects us to conform to His will and do what He would have us to do.
You can become a child of God by repenting of sins, confessing lord and Savior as the Son of God, having sins washed away int he blood of Christ n the act of baptism. Thus, being the church, the called out, we have the hope of Heaven.
