The church that meets at 104 SW 6th Street is made up of members who have chosen to live a life of obedience to Jesus Christ. Our members live and work in Oak Grove, Missouri, and surrounding areas.

The church of Christ is noted for its emphasis upon returning to New Testament Christianity and for its desire to be perfectly united in mind and thought (1 Corinthians 1:10). We try to follow the basic, innocent, faith that was proclaimed on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). We recognize that God is in our lives and pleasing Him is much more important than pleasing ourselves.

Congregational Evangelism Training Seminar, November 15 & 16, 2025

We are thrilled to announce an extraordinary opportunity to enhance your evangelism skills with our upcoming evangelism seminar. This event is designed for Christians eager to deepen their outreach efforts and make a meaningful impact in their community. Our seminar kicked off on Saturday with motivational lessons, including personal conversion stories and powerful insights on harnessing the Bible’s message in personal studies. On Sunday morning, we will dive into the “Back to the Bible” method and explore real-world applications of evangelism, learn how to handle challenging situations and apply effective strategies in your own context. Sunday will also feature a split session tailored for men and women, offering targeted strategies and a ten-point congregational plan for church leaders to foster an evangelistic body. Each session is crafted to provide you with actionable tools and real-world applications, ensuring you leave equipped and inspired to share your faith confidently. Whether you’re a seasoned evangelist or new to outreach, this seminar is your chance to grow and connect with others of like-minded faith about spreading the word. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from our special guest speaker about evangelism and learn how to transform your outreach efforts. We will not have our normal 5:00 pm service on Sunday, November 16 due to the seminar scheduled for this day. Please plan to join us again on Wednesday evening if you can.

Wednesday Evening Service and Thought for the Week, November 19, 2025

Please plan to join us for our Bible study and a thought for the week on Wednesday evening. We will begin with Bible classes for all ages beginning at 7:00 p.m. Our adult class will begin a study of the six woes as well as the parable of the rich fool (Luke 11:37-12:21). Our teen girls' class will continue their instruction on how to study the Bible and Bible marking while our younger children's classes will study Peter being set free and the death of Herod (Acts 12: 1-25). Everyone is welcome to attend in person as well as online. The adult Bible class and the short time of reflection will be available on our website and on our Facebook page. We look forward to having you join us for our Bible study Wednesday evening or one of our services on Sunday.
